The month of Shabaan will complete 30 days. The first day of Ramadan corresponds with Tuesday, the 19th of February , 2026 CE.
On Tuesday night in Central New Jersey the western horizon was very clear. However, there was no report of a sighting in New Jersey. In fact, there was no sighting anywhere in the United States of America or in Canada. Therefore, the first day of Ramadan 1447 AH will correspond with February 19th, 2026.
اللهم بارك لنا في رجب و شعبان و بلغنا رمضان!
Oh Allah, make Rajab and Sha’baan a blessing for us and let us reach Ramadan safely!
May Allah bless your Shabaan and make it a month in which you prepare yourselves for the blessed month of Ramadan. Increase in istighfar (seeking forgiveness), good deeds and character, self reflection, supplications to Allah, voluntary fasts and increased attachment to the Qur’an! May your deeds be magnified this sacred month and may your scale of good deeds weigh heavy!
May Allah bless our Ramadan and increase us in every good.
