The month of Jumada Ath Thani completed 30 days. The first day of Jumada Ath-Thaani corresponds with Monday, the 22nd of December, 2025 CE.
It was cloudy the entire weekend in Central New Jersey. However, on the evening of December 20th, 2025 (29th of Jumada Ath-Thani) the Hilal was not see anywhere in the Continental United States. According to lunar charts, the Hilal would be easily seen in Central and South America on Saturday evening.
On December 21st, 2025 (30th of Jumada Ath-Thaani) the Hilal was sighted in Monroe, New Jersey, Detroit, Michigan, Memphis, Tennessee, parts of Arizona and Goleta, California. With these sightings in the Continental United States, it is clear that the first day of Rajab 1447 AH corresponds with the December 22nd, 2025.

Increase in istighfar (seeking forgiveness), good deeds and character, self reflection, supplications to Allah, voluntary fasts and increased attachment to the Qur’an! May your deeds be magnified this sacred month and may your scale of good deeds weigh heavy!
