January 12th, 2024, marks the first night of the Sacred Month of Rajab. The first day of Rajab 1445 AH will correspond with Saturday, January 13th, 2024. The hilal was confirmed and sighted in Rome, Georgia by two witnesses between 6:10 pm and 6:15 pm EST between a break in the clouds. It was also reported from Central Hilal Committee and Crescent Watch that the hilal was also sighted in Lauderhill, Florida, Houston, Texas, San Diego, California and in Arizona the naked eye.
