الحمد لله رب العالمين

الصلاة و سلام على سيدنا محمد و على آله و صحبه

This evening, the 25th of June 2025, which corresponds to the 29th of Dhul Hijjah, we went out to search for the Hilal with eight adults, male and female and four children. The sky was too cloudy in the western horizon and we were not able to sight the hilal. There generally no positive reports throughout the United States of America or Canada. There was one alleged sighting in San Diego, however upon further investigation it was mentioned that optical aids were used for the sighting. Therefore, the first of Muharram, the first day of the New Year of 1447 AH will correspond with 27 June, 2025 CE.

Let us commemorate and celebrate this new year and this sacred month, the Month of Allah, with a renewal and commitment of sincerity to our Most Gracious and Kind Lord.
