الصلاة و سلام على سيدنا محمد و على آله و صحبه

This evening, the 27th of May 2025, which corresponds to the 29th of Dhul Qa’dah, the hilal was sighted in multiple locations including New York, Houston, Tx, Maryland and Florida. Therefore, the 28 May, 2025 will correspond with the first of Dhul Hijjah, 1446 AH. This year the sighting of the Hilal aligns with the sighting in Saudi Arabia as well as with astronomical calculations. The Hajj will begin on 31 May, 2024 in the 4th of Dhul Hijjah. The Day Arafat will correspond with the 05 June, 2025 and Eid Al Adha will correspond with Friday 06 June 2025.

Let us commemorate and celebrate these first ten days of Dhul Hijjah, these days of Allah with a renewal and commitment of sincerity to our Most Gracious and Kind Lord. May Allah bless all of the Hujjaj preparing for the trek to Makkah where they will participate in the blessed Hajj. May Allah bless them all with a Hajj mabrur! May Allah bless all of us who could not go on Hajj and accept our intentions and worship in those sacred days.
