The 15th of November marks the first day of Jumada Al Awwal 1445 AH. The hilal was sighted in Willingboro, NJ, by Idris Hamidullah and his family. I didn’t go out to sight the moon unfortunately as I was busy with work and visiting family. The hilal was also sighted by Abu Hamza Malik, though I am not aware of the location. It was also sighted in Sanford, Florida. I am confirming this date based upon the report of Brother Idris and his family from them are two upright Muslim individuals which fulfil the criteria of acceptable reports according the Maliki school.
